Plum Season is Back [Through My Lens Nr. 11]

Plum season is at its high peak right now, and what an opportunity to make plum jam out of them or simply pluck them from the tree and eat them right away. The gardens in our mountain cottage are filled with plum trees and are harvesting them each fall season. So for this weeks Through My Lens I am sharing my favorite images from the plum season. Link up and share your favorite sights taken with your camera.

    1. I think these are Damson plums, we don't make that much jam. Only for personal use. The rest gets eaten as is.

  17. Oh what beautiful fruit trees! I have always felt that purple was a Fall color because of purple asters and mums, and the purple berries of the beautyberry, but these plums cement that in my mind as well. Nothing more beautiful than ripe plums on a Fall day! And how delicious! Gorgeous photos!
